HBC wire missing

Hello. Just went to test my HBC, because my blower is a bit intermitent, blows when it wants to. And found that i only have the brown and blue wire going into the HBC and the white and blue wire isn't there. Would this cause the blower to play up......... Cheers Here's a pic.

Tonyboy. There are five V6s here with CC,only one of them has two wires,the other four have just the brown and blue wire and no sign that there ever was another,only one emerges from the loom. GOZZ.

A single wire is common. Take the HBC out and spray WD40 on to the motor inside. Have a read of THIS page. I'm not suggesting you do all this BUT the last photo,click on it to enlarge, shows the motor. You cannot see the fans from above but you can see/feel the 'copper' section which is where the brushes are. Aim for that with the WD.
