24 v scorpio auto gearbox filter??

hi guys could sombody help me ?
have been getting everything together for the service on my car when i went to ford to get the auto gearbox filter .
they have told me that the gearbox doesnt have a filter ??
after scratching my head several times and not being totally thick i said to the guy that they must have said filter ??
but no he wasnt having none of it so....
could anyone tell me
1 if im losing my marbels and the car does need a filter and
2 could anyone provide me with a part number for said filter !!

It's referred to at the FMD as a 'screen'.

and yeah gozz when i was at the fmd they said all that they could see was a screen !!! typical ay
