Hi all. I´m in search of words. my scorp has a leaking gas pipe- is that the word? it leaks gasoline when the engine is running. the gasoline is spilling out of the pipe mounted on the gas tank. the question is- is this an expensive operation? I have had a lot of expenses on the car lately best regards Ewing1

Check your pipe fitting to the fuel filter, just left off the tank, could be leaking from there......... Here's a link for the fuel tank ..... http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/fuel/general/FuelTank.pdf ... HTH

Ewing1. If you mean the filler tube area, these tanks rust badly there, you could probably make a temporary repair with 'Petro Patch' or the like, but the tank would need replacing to make a good job.About £100 on ebay. GOZZ.
