Daft question - auto box filler

So where is the filler and how do I top up if I need too (which I think I do!).

Some mornings the box is sluggish and bumps into gear when I stop at the end of the road, after that it is fine! Just had a look at the oil level and it seems low!

Any tips welcome Wink

Good 'ol Ford - use a pump or turn the car upside down LOL.

Well oil is topped up so will have to see if it fixes the problem - if not I guess the filter screen is the next step!

Cheers

Just a little advice, for those who don't know.
Allow the engine to run for while in order to heat up ATF, this will make it thin and runny, then using a hand held syphon (Similar to a grease gun) attatch a lenght of  clear tubing (Windscreen washer tubing is ideal) to nozzle of gun, insert tubing into ATF dipstick and withdraw as much as the syphon will hold until approx 2 to 2 and half litres has been withdrawn, this is about as much as you will get out using this method, whilst doing this, you will have immersed fresh ATF container into a bucket of very hot water, this will have thinned the ATF making it a lot easier to to fill syphon and inject through the dipstick.

Warning, if the ATF is not heated up as suggested it becomes nigh on impossible to withdraw and inject I use this method about every six months or so, result ATF always looks nice and fresh wich should prolong the life of the Gear Box. and keeps it nice and smooth.

Good Luck
