I think its black under the chrome, and all you have to do is get the chrome off.

Very easy to take the chrome off. Just use some fine abrasive paper, or a bodyshop 'scotchbrite ' pad. Sometimes even a good old rub with a rag can take most of it off. What you are left with is a the black plastic underneath. There is also another mod you can do if you intend to paint the plastic. How about doing it body colour !!!!! Only ever seen it done twice ( both times by me ). The first time i did it was on a pepper red car . Everyone looked at it for ages, not being able to work out why it looked a little different from theirs . The second time was with a Loden green car, which wasnt as dramatic ....until the sun picked up the metallic in the paint & then it looked awsome ( imo). Anyway, just a thought. Hope you get on with it ok. Craig

| If you go to THIS page you'll be able to establish the colour of your car. I take it that is what you are looking to match?.
