Just had my A/C regassed, and the mechanic said that the amount of gas that was in the A/C was over 1000 Kgs. He said maybe the previous owner probably had it filled by one of these mobile mechanics and just dumped some stuff in it without taking any out..... or something like that..... so it ended up with more than it should.........

The aircon label on the slam panel on mine it does say 1,000 kgs, underneath that figure it says + or - 0.020 kg so I assume it should mean 0.1kg (translates to 100grms i think) for the total amount. Lets face it 1000kg (that's nearly a ton) of gas would need a bloomin large bottle to contain it.

The Label shows .750kg which is 750 grams and new label shows 1.000Kg which is 1000grams (note decimal point location) My aircon man found that even though the label stated .750Kg there was in fact 1000g in there, it was the label that was incorrect not the amount apparently.

| That is why you need to get the new lablel from FMD which states the correct amount, which is 1000g which is what your system probably had in it but was diagnosed as incorrect by your A/C man due to the wrong info on the label. Get the new label and get it refilled or topped up to the correct amount.
