Hi, I may soon be looking for a set of tyres for my wife's 2.3 16V Facelift Ultima which has the usual 12 spoke alloy wheels. I was wondering what people thought are the best tyres to get for the car? I am a Michelin tyre fan and I used to fit them to my Mondeo which had the 205/55R15 tear drop alloy wheels. The Scorpio car came with Continental Contact tyres, and I got the ZR Sport version on my set of alloys which I recently fitted to the car. I notice that Michelin do not offer tyres for the 2.9 24V car? CHeers, Simon

Hi I did have Michelin Pilot Sport on my 24v, got about 23000miles before I changed them. Now got Goodyear F1 Eagles, must admit though I much prefer the Michelins. Tenfut

Kuhmo KU31's on my Cossie - nice and quiet and grippy enough for the way I drive - best of the mid range tyres I think. In a different league to the Pirelli P6000's that were on it originally - a truly terrible tyre.
