Cosworth Brake discs?

Now given that my car has been standing for 10 years and that the discs might..just possibly...by the slightest chance, have picked up a little corrosion in that time, I may be thinking of renewing the discs...am I in Mintex territory or are Genuine Ford still avalable, or...do I look down the Black Sapphire grooved slotty style...Or just run the car and wear the corrosion away? Many thanks Brian

You are (assuming it has a current ticket) in the drive it to scrape off the rust territory, and when replacement is due,you will be in Mintex territory. No sense in fancy nonsense, for your purposes the car will be adequate with standard spec pads, and if necessary, standard discs. GOZZ.

Most probably skim most of the rust off on the way to the MOT if not just down the road

Check the codition of the vents, my old discs looked to be on the verge of collapse due to rust there.
