changing Spark plugs

Will I need some cunning socket to feed the plugs d...o...w...n into the cylinder head, or will my standard jobbie do, when I swap the plugs over.

I just hold the end of the plug between my index finger/thumb & carefully drop it into the hole

The classical Haynes' hint is to put a piece of hose on the top while positioning and "finger-tightening" it (prevents also cross-threading), works pretty well and depth will never be a problem
