Look I was a little blotto at the reception, My Son has had his eye on my Black Cossie since I got it a couple of months ago, In a moment of sheer lunacy.. I sort of , well kinda...remember saying...
"Oh..hic...of cors u can borrow ..hic.. the scorpio to go up to the Lake District..no..hic..wurries...zzzzz"
So, If anybody sees a "looks like brand new" black cossie estate near Windermere....being in ANY way abused, by an oik, report back asap!
I must learn to put more water in my Pussers rum...I really must!

I did see a sparkling black cossie scorpio going up the M1 ... That is apart from the big dent on the drivers side wing and a big score down the door

Home electrics ? and not having a fire extinguisher or means of disconnecting the battery,I bet you have eh JC ?
The first thing to do is to pull the bonnet release if smoke is seen, because if a fire ensues the cable quickly becomes unviable, and if it gets to the stage of a visit from the Fire Brigade, they will have to break the lock out.I read an article once in a motorist's magazine saying under no circumstances open the bonnet in case of fire,as this will allow air to the fire  Roll Eyes I must say,I never realised the engine was contained in an airtight container !! they really do utter some nonsense  Sad

LOL .... Grin

May be worth knowing it was BBC Watchdog IIRC, or something like, talking about engine fires and how they started, so they had an expert demonstrate, actually most likely it's started by brake fluid. To demonstrate he splashed petrol onto the hot exhaust manifold, just 'steam', oil, nuthin (obviously) well a bit of smoke; brake fluid, whoosh up it went

it returned in reasonable order, less most of its fuel and uncleaned...but I expected no less!
I've just replaced the plugs and whilst they were 3 years old, had supposedly only covered 700 miles. I had over 2mm gap on all plugs and the electrodes looked shot.
I changed the plug leads at the same time, for some natty blue ones...tres chic!
