Something I need to do in the very near future but from what I have read, you need to take the complete sunroof out, protecting the paintwork as you do it. Remove all the screws and gently pull the complete unit out. Lee

The sunroof glass panel can be removed separately from the mechanism - 3 screws each side, apply WD40 the night before as they can be a pain to remove - the screw heads can 'round out' if you're not careful though. Don't use an impact driver or the plastic side mounts can crack. Pozidrive No.3 bit I think.

As Mike say's, the glass can be removed seperately but to get the panel out, you need to remove the whole unit. Lee
