I wonder if anybody can help?
I have been looking at stainless hoses for the cossie and 2 sorts state that the full set comprises 6 hoses in total.
Can you advise, is that correct?
I haven't had a looksee yet, to check if there are indeed a full half-dozen but am promised fine weather this weekend!
Many thanks in advance

Pure unadulterated vanity I'm afraid..I won a set of Brembo (Gold zinc plated) Front drilled discs. I looked at the previous MOT's (the car has only done 500 miles max between each of the last 10 MOT's)and the last 3 had all warned of corrosion on the Brake pipes, so thinking that it would be a lot cheaper to change these myself rather than let the MOT station do it (should it fail next time). I thought...being of a certain age ... and fondly remembering the old Graham Hill Lotus 49 Gold Leaf colour scheme (red/gold). It occurred to me  that Transparent Red pipes and gold discs would look pretty good...completely ignoring the fact that once fitted, they would be impossible to see!
But that is the sad truth.."Oh vanity..where is thy sting?"

Unless I've missed something here isnt the most likely 'fail' point the brake PIPES which run the length and width of the car as opposed to the connecting hoses?? or are you doing the whole lot??. Huh Smiley

You're quite right, I should have said Brake "hoses" Not pipes. The pipes have been covered in wax-oil (or similar) from new and appear in unblemished condition.
The corrosion on the hoses is at the original zinc/cad plated ends.
