Hi all I fitted new front suspension, springs and shocks over the weekend. All went well but now I have the dreaded abs/tc lights on from start up and they do not go out. I renewed the unit a couple of months ago as it developed the same fault and all was well until I done the suspension. I have checked the connections and cleaned the cogs by the sensors to no avail. Just wondering if there are any more tips or ideas anyone could come up with. Indecently I had someone change the tyres on the car and that’s when the abs/tc light came on last time. I changed the unit and all was well am I missing something? Does undoing the sensors at the wheel arch do something to the unit? Any ideas welcome. Kind Regards Michael

Aren't the sensors quite sensitive? So if you had to do any bashing about the suspension, the transfer of force might damage them?

It came up before putting 1 or 2 new tyres on increases the diameter of the affected wheels slightly. Ergo, slightly different rotational speeds relative to the other wheels which is interpreted as a ABS sensor fault. (?)
