Pointed rubber thingy

Ok not the correct term I know but with all thats going on just felt a bit of humour was needed. Any way the item I refer to is the large cone shaped rubber rebound pad? located within the rear springs.  I noticed when checking bearing as per my other post that they are to be polite worn.  Are they easy to replace and are they available?  looked on the repairs pages but could find no reference.

The term I beleieve you are looking for is Bump Stop.

You don't need them unless you're playing Dukes of Hazard whilst having a fully loaded boot.

Amiga, they are not in fact called bump stops, official title is antisqueak spring and would cost you £13.79 but no longer available. from Ford today

Anti-squeak spring   Huh....if the suspension arm ever did hit the chassis (fully loaded & playing Dukes of Hazard.....with no shock absorbers) it certainly wouldn't produce a squeak....more like an almighty thud that would probably break your coccyx  Cry.... Grin
