Hi everyone! Today I was going to remove dashboard to change some bulbs in the instrument cluster, but I just couldn't disconnect heated windscreen and rear window multiplug, all other multiplugs came off easy, just need to press small clip an they disconnect, but these don't even have any clips so I don't know how hard I 'm allowed to pull them. Does anyone know whats the trick? Thanks! Misko

They do have plastic clips on the plug but they have to be levered out by gently pushing a screwdriver under them, they are very strong.

It could be that the 'press' area on these plugs are slightly different. I seem to remember from the past that there are a few that need to have a flat (100 mm long) screwdriver blade slide into the side of the plug, or a very firm finger push BUT with either it needed a strong 'wriggle' to remove the plug. Best of luck.

Forgot to mention, it’s easier to prise the switches out of the dash whilst the dash is still in place – you can then see what you have to do rather than groping about behind the dash.

Interesting idea, so You mean that I should unclip the whole AC display and then disconnect plug, or....? If so, it seems that it would be much easier that way, because yesterday, I didn't have enough space while trying to disconnect. Tnx!

That's how I do it, I have climate control. Some people prefer not to remove the CC panel from the front for risk of marking the dash in which case you could push the CC panel from behind then put the dash back to remove the switches. I’ve not looked at a non CC type so can’t comment if that’s what you have.
