24V PATS help needed

1995 24V BOB Scorpio Estate with separate PATS module was donor for engine, wiring and ECU. I have just started the wiring loom for my 24V 4X4 Puma. Some while ago a mate from FMD posted me a wiring diagram, but it doesn't relate to this PATS and is thus useless. Can't get hold of him now I know we don't want to discuss this in depth on a public forum for obvious reasons Have got round cranking inhibit no problems at starter relay Am guessing the other inhibit shuts down ECU / Fuel Pump maybe Ignition ?? There is however only 2 wires from PATS module to ECU, a Blue and a Grey. Question is what to do with these:- In order of educated guess / likelihood of success LOL a) Join tgether ?? b Earth one Positive the other ?? c) Positive to both ?? d) Earth to both ?? f) Some sort of resistance or signal across / to them ?? Can anyone PM me some help, please ?? Regards Dave

Aha, Well with a bit of help from lots of guys here and other forums, I have been studying various wiring diagrams, and sat on the lounge floor trawling through acres of car loom removed from the Scorpio when I stripped it. A big light came on in my head last night. As far as I can now tell, without physically starting the engine, (which won't happen for a month or 2 yet), the stand alone type PATS has no effect at all on the 24V ECU. Without being too specific here It seems to isolate a few other items none of which I am using on the Puma, as most are Scorpio related !! So looks to me like it'll be doable without major headache !! Cheers for all your help, Regards Dave

Cheers Matt, Pic seems to concur with what I've learned over the last week, i.e. it ain't rocket science, why does everyone make this sound so difficult LOL.......... Just waiting to be proved wrong now LOL........ Gozz, yeah the car I stripped was a 1995 Estate, stand alone PATS, think it was around '97 / '98 when PATS got built into the ECU, and apparantly, thats not so easy to get rid of Cheers Dave
