http://www.fordpartsuk.com/ offer them slightly cheaper. However, there may be other sources with lower prices. I just found a German source, which sells the wisbones of QUINTON HAZELL for 87,11 each (Standard prize 158,87 ). Shipment to UK is 16,66 . Sorry, no direct link. Search for p/n QSJ2101S resp.QSJ2102S. They also offer them from Bendix (041917B / 041918B). But there is no price info. Regards Armin

Well shot myself in the foot there! one was £96 the other £106 i thought i would ask why the other one cost more, the reason i did this is because i thought there may be a difference mechancally in some way! just curious really! but intended to buy! now the price of the £96 is £144 82! apparently the guy said that one was listed at the wrong price!I was going to buy the two, (plus bushes) but feel a bit peeved and wonder about who i am dealing with here! Regards sore foot

They had been that price for some time - I wondered why they'd changed.

No RODDERS, they have them in stock, this is one of the messages i got, (quote) I've checked our listing records and you are correct that there is a seperate listing at £106.57p I have had to delete that listing as it is incorrect and is in fact an older listing from last year as the picture on the listing was an old one. There are no differences in prices between the RH and LH according to the parts catalogue, the retail price for each is at £170.38p inc VAT and with the 15% discount we have offered on each brings the cost down to £144.82p inc VAT I'm very sorry for the confusion you have now experienced, we have to ensure that we sell our products at the correct price but with the older listing at £106.57 that should not have been listed that is causing the confusion. I hope this helps resolve the confusion you've experienced, I can only apologise for the old listing being displayed at the different price. (unquote) When i first looked following Tompions kind links The RH one was £96 the N/S was £106, Which is why i asked if there was any difference. They are now £144-82 either side, but i think i will try and find some mot standard used ones now, cheers Bob

| That's true Companies like Quinten Hazel advertise them in their catalogue in the anticipation that they will soon be in production. But Ford (afaik) haven't given the go ahead for anyone else to produce it yet

The wishbones have apparently been listed in QH, Firstline, FAI and other parts catalogues but have never actually been available. I have spoken with several motor factors about the wishbones and they couldn't believe the price of new Ford supplied ones. I have the Firstline and FAI ref numbers written down somewhere and will post if I can find them. Maybe someone else can shed some light ? I even spoke to a technical guy at QH recently and he admitted that although listed in the catalogue, they have never had them, so probably QH not an OE supplier for this part Badly designed part IMHO not to have a replaceable ball joint. Unless you feel like shelling out for new ones, used are pretty much the only option

My recollection is that Jeff {Pinto} found that the actual joint was made by Timkens and his idea was to try and source the correct joint and press it into place. He had access to the equipment necessary to do this. Regretfully he is no longer a Scorpio owner afaik.

| Strange I easily found two German webshops, which mark them as available. (this is from my previous posting.) And here is the direct link to the second shop. They say shipment within 2 to 3 labour days. There are also two comments that imply that in June 2009 and in November 2010 either of them was available and fitted. Regards Armin
