This is going to make me look very daft however:   Is there a knack to removing the side repeaters, or does one have to go in the back behind the wheelarch?

If i remember right, you get something blunt or something that won't damage the paintwork, and push towards the front, and it should just pop out.

The details are in the Handbook.  They either push forward or rearward depending on which way they were fitted.

Yes that's it Tony,in effect slide it one way or the other depending on which way round it was last put in,you can do it with your fingers as long as you have nails !
