Brake discs - life expectancy?

Hi All, what's the experience of life of the discs (Cosworth)? My rears are original and still have 19+mm on them (20mm new, 18mm=change). Done 82k. Had to change the fronts at 62k. Paul

How long is a peice of string? It all depends on several factors . How heavy you are when you use the brakes, types of driving and speeds. Some people use a lot of brakes others hardly ever wear them out.

I agree Dave - horses for courses. I avoid heavy breaking as much as I can, even when I'm moving at 3000rpm though most is in town or short trips Just want to get an idea of others experiences.

I think I had originals at 250k ? fronts were couple mm too thin and rears were 18mm
