remote locking not working

hi all  
my remote locking has stopped working , thought it might be the batteries , changed them but still not working Sad
any ideas as to what could be wrong??

ok , problem sorted , found the reprogram code in the fault finder section   Smiley

reprogramme it? or maybe the rubber contacts under the buttons Rich?
 
Theres a conductive coating on them that wears off, a blob of conductive paint or a tiny bit of silver paper glued onto it may work.

You also get black crud off the buttons onto the gold contacts on the board, best wiped off with a squirt of switch cleaner onto a clean hanky Grin

ok , remote stopped working again after about a week , so reset it again ,worked for about 6 days then went again , reset it , works etc etc etc etc  
why?

Bad battery contact? There's also a little tiny spring contact off to one side, that has to mate properly with a pad on the board as well.
