If you remove the air intake trunking from the throttle body the butterfly is accessible.The circumference gets mucky and cleaning with carb cleaner sometimes helps. There is a sticker in the throttle body advising you NOT to clean the body as it has a special coating on it.

Ta that's about what I thought. I wasn't going to use bleach or anything like that! But a bit of a clear out might be in order. Doesn't do it all the time, only occasionally when been standing for a while. But has been like that on and off for some time TBH
