scorpio diesel fuel tank

[b][/b] hi all i have a scoprio ultima diesel estate , and i have noticed that that the fuel tank is leaking 
so im just asking to see if anyone knows of the petrol and diesel tanks are the same ??
also are the saloon and estates the same ??
