2.3 induction , alternative?

Hi, i'm just wiring in megasquirt to a 2.3 16v 1996 scorpio engine. Its in an old bedford ambulance and clearance is a slight issue. the inlet manifold sticks out quite a way and is infringing on my clutch pedal, i can make it work but it will be very tight and i will have to move the steering a bit. is there any simple alternative to the plastice inlet and gubbins that would give me more room, i cannot justify the expense of some new throttle bodies as i have already done this for my spitfire, clearance was also an issue. the bedford doesn't need performance as it will handle like a church anyway , something that sticks out less even if it detuned the engine a bit would be great , thanks.

Hi mate The engine is I4 which essentially means its the same as the galaxy and the bits from the 2.0 scorpio and the rs2000 will fit it Infact if you fitted the top end from a 2.0 scorpio you would have an rs2300 Matt

thanks for the info, does anyone know if the 2 litre intake manifold and throttle body takes up less space than the 2.3, had anyone got a pic that may help, thanks.
