Add USB or MP3 function to your Ford Radio

Saw this on EBay Germany. It replaces the CD Changer (Plugs into the back of the radio where the changer fits and then the CD function on the radio becomes an MP3 or USB player....

Seems quite good. I had one on my first S Class which replaced the CD Changer and it means you can load stacks of music onto USB or an old IPOD and play for hours!

Hi Baz, will do that but can I ask, once fitted will I still be able to use other functions ie Radio Reception etc. The Ad for it is in German so sourcing further info is very restricted on my part.

Ken,

It appears to be like the one I had in my old Merc. It replaces the CD Changer and the tape and radio still function fine

ive ordered one of these myself.. and service is verry good. and it works fine.

is does take some time to start up. but then again. with 4GB of mp3 it will need to search a little.

only downpoint is. you cant keep a cd in the changer whilst wanting to listing to mp3.

and can you switch with the steeringknobs between radio and cd?
