Hello this isn't a scorpio related question, but for a Polo MK4 N Reg. My daughter can't start the Polo Turn the ignition and nothing happens. The battery is Ok and the starter motor is ok and iv'e checked the fuses. I'm thinking the imobaliser is kaput. and was wondering if there is anyway to bypass it, Iv'e tried to join the Polo forum for the past 2 weeks but i can't log into it. And was wondering if anyone here could help.
Cheers

The rotary switch on the back of the ignition key is a known fault, its wears out to the point you turn the key but the switch doesnt move, my sisters went, its readily available from vw for about 30 quid but its a pain in the arce to fit
