beware explorer 7000 radio

tryed a 7000 radio out of one of the dead scorpios in the facelifted explorer and they dont seam compateble eather way.they still have the problem with the display fading.

My 7000 went the same way, faded then gave up. went to local scrappy and got a 5000 with cd changer conection for £25. Works just as good as the 7000 did. its off a 2005 mondeo.
