Name is on the sticker by the ECU Plug Wink

I have two 24V ECUs one is EACH and the other is EXIT. I haven't look at the 2.3 and the 2.0

From what i know / remember the name is the final calibration of the ECU.  On my cossie i had the early programing. After i have calibrated it with the newer version there was a note that a new label should be obtained and sticked over the original one.

That's Excellent,

I think that might be all of them, but at least it looks like the 2 that Mark has are indeed Cosworth BOB ECU's, which was the purpose of the thread.

I suppose out of curiosity, we should now try and identify if the Cosworth BOB did ever have built in PATS, I've never seen one, but it is rumoured that some of the very last ones did....................

That was why I bought the 1998 TACK ECU, but it has separate PATS.

Fords wiring diagram suggests there were some with built in PATS.

Personally all the other Fords I've found with built in PATS have been 1998 or later, anyone else have any knowledge on this ??

Cheers Dave

From what ive heard, the latter cars that didnt have the separate pats module had the circuit built into the back of the clocks, (the clocks were marked with a sticker saying WDS2000 programmed and have to be kept with the ecu)

Hi Matt,

Yeah, I heard that one too, although I've never come across it myself, so that's another possible iron in the fire, and should that be the case it would mean you'll never get the later BOB ecu's to run in converted cars without using the Scorpio Clock Set  Sad

It would seem to me with these BOB Cossie conversions, that the way to use EECV is to use the separate PATS system, simplified as I have done it, and then they run fine.

Fortunately most 24V Scorpios seem to have the separate module type PATS  Wink

Cheers Dave
