heater pipes

i have a slight water leak on the bulkhead end of the heater pipes...there,s two that are connected from there and not leaking, and a third that just sticks out with what appears to be a screwed in "plastic cap" that one seems to be leaking... its not connected to anything as it comes out of the bulkhead, is this right, and is a "plastic cap " in it normal? ty in advance of any help Micky

Micky, I think you are looking at the 'drain tubes'. Are the inserts red/orange??. Have a read of This page

Definitely sounds like the drain. Time to worry is when it doesn't drip-because the water will end up dripping on your feet ! Been there. Glyn
