rear brake pads

Hi, being a novice at any reapirs etc. i was wondering if its easy "ish" to replace rear pads on my 2.3.... as i was quotes 40 quid at local garage, and i can buy pads for around 18 quid and thought i would give it a go thank you in advance Micky

MIcky. You will need the 'Wind back tool' as the rear pistons cannot be 'pushed' back. The cheapest unit is the cube,usually 3/8 drive, shown On this page.

The rear pads have a little tag on them, itd important that these line up witj the cutouts on the pisron

ty, i have the wind back tool from ebay already, was gonna do my brakes last time they needed doing , but paid a garage to do em , so this time i will give it a go myself , thanks guys Mick
