I thought, I'll just tap in the code on the Buttons and press the No. 5 button and away we go.  No chance.  My radio Code has  0 in it  Shocked.  That's me flummoxed  Huh .  I tried 3 different ways to no avail.  Will somebody please advise me how to press in a 0?

The details are Here. Presumably to get a 0 you press the appropriate button 10 times?. Check out the page as,of course, after a number of attempts it wiill lock you out for 30mins. If you have nothing on the display have you checked the fuse/power etc?. Sometimes cleaning the contacts on the removable security panel will help. Click the button two from the right of the 'Size' panel to save standing on your head to read ! Wink Details are on page 2.

These radios are a nuisance, display comes and goes depending on the weather. The liquid crystals Freeze.
Try putting it in the freezer or heating it up with a hair dryer! failing that guess? 0 is ten presses use buttons 1-4 then 5 to commit. Or just wait until it says- they have a mind of their own

Hair drier worked for me last week, after battery disconnect.
10 minutes on hot on the screen brought it back to life long
 enough to put code in.
 Since gone blank again though!!

Thanks for your replies everybody but to no avail.  I checked the Code, it's correct.  Cleaned the security panel, and gave the Radio a good blast with a Heat gun, no change.  I've entered the Code 6 times, I think, and am at a loss.  I am sure I have entered a code "blind" before with success.  I am really stumped this time - it is the 0 that is worrying me.
Any other ideas?

Hi. I just had my battery disconnected to do other work and my display pleases itself.
When turned on it shows code for a few seconds then ----. Each press of buttons 1 to 4 moves up one, starting at 1. So 2 pushes of button one will show "2---" and so on. For zero you have to press 10 times. When finished, press 5 and all should be OK. Hope this helps...

Just in case, what is your serial number...

Smiley.  Thanks Kev  Cool .  If you read my Update you'll see that I replaced the radio etc. When the weather get warmer I'll try the original radio again.
