Looks as though you have to unplug the lights etc inside the lid & pull the loom out:

If the boot is going to be refitted to a car,it's easier to tie two pieces of string,one each side,to the cables when you pull them through,and leave them in situ ready to pull the cables back through.This makes the rethreading much easier.
