Kev. Certainly not on the estate. You will also probably find that there is a grommet in the boot which will allow the wires from the sensors to pass through into the interior and so attach to the control box.

You'll have to be fairly select where you drill the holes, but I fitted colour-coded sensors just a few weeks ago, piece of cake, and the bumper stayed on. Do yourself a favour and buy a decent set, the cheaper sets don't last in my opinion.
