There is someone who will fit micro switches to Scorpio fobs, no doubt Simmo will post details.

So assuming these ones are small enough to fit/solder into the space on a Scorpio fob they should work.

The battery probably won’t be right for yours. Whilst there are apparently some Scorpio fobs that use just one thick 3v battery most require 2 thinner 3v batteries (6v).

Back in October there was a chap on E-bay refurbishing 'Our' fobs. His details are:- Phillip Heap 55, Castlefield,Ambleside, Cumbria, LA22 9BO. Tel. 07564568817. I can't find him on there at the moment. There is a site Here which has one of our fobs for sale but his main listings are for repairs. If you contact him you can tell him the part number is for a Scorp! as he seems not to know.

I've also just found This site I'll have a bet that it's the same guy from Ambleside  Wink

Yes. The same.
I sent Thursday PM, he emailed redeived Fri AM. Emailed again Fri PM, done and on its way back with tracking no.

He also advises against the silver foil repair as it can damage the board

Had remote repaired by Phil in Ambleside - great service, very quickly dealt with and returned.  However, I am now trying to reprogramme it.  Following instructions, ie insert key in ignition, turn to position 1.  Return to off and then on three times, after which a chime is supposed to sound saying it is ready for programming by pressing the unlock button on the remote.  My chime is not sounding so I cannot carry on the programme sequence.  Any suggestions please on the cause of this and how to remedy??
Cheers,

Yep, four times, I've just re-programmed both cars because I wanted to swap the fobs.   A terrible pain because having both cars close together leads to the fobs working on both cars!   Cheesy

Mine is just turn to position I, hold down unlock button on the fob until it chimes. (The car not the fob. Grin )

Just saying there can be variations.

A few days after my attempts to programme the remote the "ready to programme" chime suddenly decided to come on after turning the key off and on three times.  I then found out I had to hold the unlock button in until it chimed again before the fob was programmed.  It is now working OK and I find the fob has a much more positive action with micro switches than when operating on kitchen foil!!  Thanks for all the advice.

In that eBay picture there's actually two batts, one on top of the other. Grin

Plus, the top one clearly has '3V' inscribed on it. And 'CR2032'.
