Rear Suspension

Wee noises have been happening just recently around Movvy's rear-end!   Just little creaking noises when going slowly around town over bumps, and when moving off from stationary.   I'm just being a lazy-git really, I should put it on the ramp at work and get someone to bounce the suspension up and down whilst listening with a stethoscope.   It's like creaking or squeaky rubber bushes, if I put my foot down quickly when pulling away from a junction it does it!   I'm almost positive it's NOT either of the rear wheel bearings, they're tight.   Is there a common fault?    Just any ideas of what to look for, or experiences.
Thanks
Peter

A wee update.   Had the car on the ramp this morning and it sounds very much like the top rubbers on the rear springs.   The CV's and shafts and bearings are fine.   But I did notice she's going to need a wee bit of a paint at the rear of the chassis rail, a bit of surface rust showing there now.   Awkward place to get to.

Update again.   Put the car up on ramps at home and got the Gal to select gears whilst feeling around under the car, you'll never guess, it was the tow-bar forward bracket lightly scraping the differential carrier.   I'd have never thought myself except I was holding onto the bracket to enable me to lift my head up closer to the dive-shafts, and could feel the wee knocking through the tow-bar!   It happened only really when going straight from 'D' through Neutral to 'R' and vise-versa.   All sorted now, silence is golden!   Cheesy

FWIW was getting squeaky / creaky noises earlier in the year, but nothing since. There was a round trip to Yorkshire in the interim, nuffink since.
