Smiley Hi folks. I thougt that you may be interested to know the following:

As posted by me on the Site the large T piece that sits under the Plenum busted  Sad. and having failed to locate one here I had to stir up the last vestiges of my Brain regarding a solution. I searched the Internet and found possible T pieces that could be adapted for my purposed but somehow I was not happy (I have no Brazing skills etc. at all). I the visited many Business's around Chard to no avail  Huh

During this time I followed the advice of one garage to block off the hoses; I left the front small hoses conected directly to each other as they pass from the inlet on one side of the manifold to the other and I thought there must be a ballancing affect between the two.  I blocked off the T piece hose that leads from this
hose to the large T piece and made a direct conection between the Cam Cover Hose on the nearside and the hose that leads off to the Offside of the engine believing that this hose leads to atmosphere.  In fact it leads to the EVAPORATOR  Shocked

Never mind I thought, my wife can't stand A/C.  Having had the Bty. disconected for a while I expected the usual settling down period to elapse: I followed the procedure advised here and persisted for about a week.  But she kept on stalling  Undecided.  Not satisfactory. Obviously the 24 valve needs to have these Vacume Hoses conected!

Then whilst discussing these problems with a guy from Mill Auto Supplies here in Chard (other than being a customer I have no interest in this Company) he said that he had a T piece which may suit my needs and if I came back later he would have it sent from Taunton for me.  Grin.  I duly picked it up an fitted it.  One end was too large and the other end was too small but the 8mm interconecting pipe is just right. I made secure conections using other hose pieces.

All done and dusted  Smiley Smiley Smiley.  She is up and running perfectly once again.

So now I have both Cossies doing as Cossies should.

Happy days  and thanks for all your advice.
