MOT tomorow! HELP PLEASE

I decided i have to sort out my 2 estates, my 2-9 has m.o.t tomorow, and i'm wondering how i stand, it's been sorned off the road for 13 months! am i allowed to drive to the m.o.t garage? no tax or insurance! any advice please? Bob

Bob, You DO need insurance but you can drive an untaxed vehicle to a pre-booked MOT appointment. That is the only time you can legally drive a SORN'd / untaxed vehicle on a public road - just make sure you have valid insurance cover.

Thanks Mike, i had to cancel m.o.t. stupidly i spent so much time swapping the best tyres cleaning it,etc i forgot to transfer insurance from the 2-3, so it's back into storage for the 2.9. and tax the 2-3 for a few months, and change it over then, once i could keep both on the road at the same time, those days are gone, the 2.9 has only done 84k. 2.3 166k Cheers Bob
