Facelift conversion

Is converting an older Scorp to facelift style as simple as fitting the revised grille/lights/bumper??
Are these parts readily interchangable, and were there any other revisions?
I am thinking of the estate version, which I believe was the same at the rear end, was it not?

Rear end on estate was unchanged, front parts swap over with no problems.

Excellent info chaps, thanks, that has got me thinking now...look at this:

bit pricey but a rare low mileage job. What a shame it's not a 24V

Looks like a good one, seller is asking top end but considering the low mileage and condition not taking the mickey - rarer beige leather interior too. Maybe make him an offer ?

The estate is easy to facelift as only the front needs to be changed. Headlamps just need the chrome around the outer to be polished off, costs pennies if you use T Cut or something similar. Unclip the headlamp glass and polish the chrome part inside it, needs small hands but end result is facelift lamp.

I must be the only 'git' on here that prefers the Pre-Facelift look?   If I had a face-lift then I'd look to swap the other way!   I like the older 'Zodiac' rear-light look, probably because I've had Zodiacs, and still have one over in Malta.

4/5 both my estates reverted to pre facelift as i prefered the look of the black "rimmed2 headlights and chrome grill surround.  So now 4/5 old gits and at 70 years i can claim to be a proper OLD GIT!

I prefer the pre facelift as the rear lights on the saloons look much better than the later ones. I am also like the old cars and so like the chrome lol
