Hi, I have a leak from somewhere behind the water pump, I have seen a hose on the passenger side that goes into the engine block, it comes from the water pump and bottom of the radiator. There is a 3 way connector on it where does the hose that goes into the block go and how do i get the hose off or is this not possible, thanks

its a cossie,

the 3 way connector is the thermostat, hose from the top goes under the left hand cylinder head and conenct to the water splitter in the middle of the v where the temp sensors are.

hose from the front goes to water pump

hose from bottom goes to the rad

Hopefully that's Alan back on the road. swapped the thermostat and it ran lovely for about 20 mins and boiled over again. noticed the fans hadn't kicked in so got the FDS on it which found one of the fans had died!

Replaced the fan and while doing some other checks found a blockage in the header tank return hoses!
