Hi, My alarm has stopped working ,also central locking from remote,no ding from central timer when trying to reset, heated screen wont switch off. I realise some may be faulty switches but i've checked them and they seem ok central timer checked AOK remote checked AOK (TRIED THREE SUSTITUTES) so i thought to try substitute ECU before trying much dreaded wiring checks. Have no idea if RF reciever is ECU or central timer. ROD

Rod. I would not expect the ECU to be involved, rather the central control module above it.The timer module is near your left knee under the soft panel. The screen heater problem may be caused by the relay (18 aux fusebox). GOZZ.

As Gozz says the ECU has no effect on these items, and i would agree that its the CCM, check all the fuses that relate to electronics in the handbook, CCM's can be swapped, however if you have the ultrasonic sensors then you will need a CCM from a car that also has them
