Drivers side seat base bolster

Hi All
The drivers side base bolster on my seat has gone "soft" - so much so that I can feel the metal frame.
Has anyone ever put new foam in these seats? Any tips?

It's probably the steel frame gone through the foam & the bit of cloth that's with it (the frame sits in a pocket in the foam) - that's what happened to mine. I replaced the foam and the rubber support on mine as I wanted to see what a new one felt like, not that it felt that different, but I expect you can patch it up instead.

If your interested ive just taken apart a seat to use its electrics to upgradr some recaros. Foams are in good condition

Looks pretty doable in the manuals.
Found another problem - the "forward" button doesn't work. The seat does move forward if using one of the memory settings so it's not the motor, must be the switch  SO it looks like the seat needs to come out to investigate anyway as that's an MOT failure now (boo!).
