Anyone using a bike rack on thier Scorpio Saloon? Any reconmendations? I'm looking at either a roof rack mounted one (I'd need the bars as well - looking for reconmendations on these as well) or a boot mounted one - I haven't got a tow bar fitted (but could consider one if it had a removable ball).

I used to carry one on the roof of my Estate. The bars were Halfords but I can't recall the make of the cycle carrier. However I've just looked at Halfords and it seems they stock what you want.

I've now ruled out roof rack bars as saloons don't have the roof rack rails like the estate - you can get ones that clamp in the door openings for a saloon but they always mark the paint I've heard so that's a no go.

Been using Ford roof bars and rack for the Scorp for about 15 years and no marks except in the gutter where the feet rest- and that is only superficial.

| Ditto but shouldn't get any scratching if you manage not to lose the little rubber shields on the feet Paul
