OK. Not Scorpio but in common with most Jaguars, mine has a wee-bit of a droopy head-lining. I was hoping to just get a tin of spray-glue and poke a thin nozzel through the head-lining in a couple of places and spray the roof or whatever and just stick it back up. It's a real pain to get the lining and board off the underside of the roof. Anyone any ideas

Peter, have a look at This video. I had mine done recently and to be honest,had I had time, I would have tried myself. The headlining comes out without too much effort once the light fittings etc have been removed.
The problem is that the fabric is actually foam backed and it is the backing which disintegrates into dust and needs to be brushed off the backing board before a new lining is glued on. There are kits available and I'll try and locate a site. I think the method you propose would probably have the adhesive coming through the fabric. 
Have a look at This site and see if that helps. Note that the adhesive shown is specially designed for the job in view of the high temperatures generated in summer time. If you do similar searches you'll find some firms do a kit.

Do an ebay search for 'Headlining fabric' - around £9.99 per metre, 1.40m wide.
The spray adhesive also comes up in that search.
Find a local coach trimmers if you don't fancy doing it yourself.

Really good information folks,.
I have been watching the Headlining on my 24 valve Estate gradually descending for ages and being at a loss as to what to do.
One problem though. The Headlining in The Beast has two lights just behind the centre door pillars. whereas the donor headlining doesn't and neither does my other Estate.
These lights have puzzled me since I got The Beast some 9 years ago; I can't find any related switch  .
I bet somebody knows what they are for, if indeed they are lights?

I must test the sensors out, but maybe not just now as I could wake the neighbours
