Self leveling rear shocks estate

Has anyone changed the very expensive self levelling shocks for maybe adjustable ones or not with stronger Springs. I realise that the springs with the self levelling are not up to the job. Any part numbers or places to talk to would be appreciated. Cheers Colin

I think someone on here has replaced the rear shocks with some for a Sierra estate. If you need some rear shocks of the self levelling type I might have a couple of used examples in the garage. Take a look at the KYB website to see if they do any rear springs for the Scorpio Estate.

If you read This thread you will see the whole saga. At the end of the thread Highlander gives the Monroe part number which is in effect the one for the Sierra mentioned by Scorpio Mike. I had them fitted to my car some years back and have had no issues. However to be clear I do not tow and do not carry any significant weight. The car is simply my daily transport. This might help. There are other suppliers listed if you do a Google search but this is the cheapest and you will need two. It says more on the way.
