Is there a "knack" to folding forward the seat base to enable a flat load floor. I have tried without success. The manual says it is possible. Cheers Tony

It was possible with my 2.3 Saloon Ultima. If I remeber well, you first need to move the front seats forward. Then you need to catch the seat in the middle of the rear side and pull it strongly upwards. I think one of the admins had scanned the manual a provided it on the homepage. Maybe it is described there. Regards Armin

There should be a loop on each rear corner to help pull it up but you may not be able to get hold of them if they weren't looped in properly. You can usually just get it started by lifting the rear of the seat by the door. It twists a bit as you lift because it's thin steel & the foam has to give to get by the seat backs. Best to locate the seat buckles in their holders first.

The seats manual is Here Tompion is right about the seat belts. Clip them in place before lifting the seat and certainly before you drop it back or the holders get lost under the squab and are a ........ to retrieve.
