Instrument bulbs

It looks as if I'm going to have to take the dash out at sometime to fix an intermittent permanently ON Air Bag warning lamp (luckily it went OFF during the MOT).
I would like to change all the instrument bulbs (clock one has never worked) at the same time but looking at the prices as per the Finis codes from the How To section, they seem very expensive.
I managed to change the CC panel bulbs by taking it out and breaking the lamps out of their holders and pushing ordinary wedge bulbs in.
Is there a cheap supply somewhere (eBay and FordParts UK are expensive and don't have most of the Finis code bulbs) or a cross reference so that I can translate Finis codes into wattage for ordinary wedge bulbs?
