Can anybody tell me where to get a pair of exhaust to downpipe gaskets? They don't seem to look like any other generic gasket? anybody got a part number?

Assuming you mean cat to manifold, too late for this listing but it gives the part no's as 7012906 (or 95GB 9451 BA) click on the "See original listing" & you'll see pictures of fitment location: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232992922150 If you look at this listing for an aftermaket cat you'll see it says fitting kit FK90285A or FK90285B required, search for those numbers & you'll find them - presumably they can be used on original or pattern parts but I don't know: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292803413921

Thanks! Least I've got a part number now. Unfortunately Ford no longer have them. Not sure what my alternatives are now

Look for some heat resistant or high temperature gasket material which you can buy by the sheet and then make one using the old one as a pattern.

You could contact one of the sellers of the BM cats and ask if the fitting kit is OK with a Ford cat (assuming you have an original). Here's one of the kits on Ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292802784828 Says for illustration only so the picture may not be right.
