It's fairly straightforward Tony. The pdf is here: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/exttrimmanl.htm But it's wrong with the side fixing, it doesn't have the quarter turn fixing (these are only on the rear bumper) instead there's a long plastic clip just below the wing that clips to the top edge of the bumper - very flimsy setup chances are it'll be damaged but doesn't seem to matter. I think it's 2 screws in the arches & not a clip & rivet as shown. The sides of the bumper just pull outwards from the clips on the wings. Disconnect or remove indicators/foglights & headlight washers if fitted. The manual shows 2 fixing bolts at the front but there are 4 - fairly obvious once you take off the headlamp side covers. It should stay in place once you remove the bolts as there are 2 brackets that go into the chassis box section ends, just pull the bumper forward. I find it easy enough single handed. If you need to change the spoiler I think it's rivetted on - I used small stainless nuts and bolts instead. Dave

| Yes I found some on ebay but had the black in the shed. Hope to source a bumper rather than the tape. Tony

| A quick look in my favourite shop found this : eBay item number:254679871230 Might be worth asking if the bumper is still available - looks good from the pics, pity it is the wrong colour but you can always cover it in white duct tape...

It came from your part of the country (Tiverton) The driver who collected it for me said the seller looked about 15 and he sounded pretty much the same on the phone. So IMO probably not a banger merchant. But whatever he is I got my white bumper. Tony

Hi Torbayboy I get the feeling your being critical of me buying a part I needed. I have no connection with the seller and have no idea what his hobbies are whether banger racing or show jumping. I needed a front bumper, searched ebay and found that one which luckily for me was the right colour. I do not need a panel so will not be trying to buy one. I paid £100.00 and got it collected by the company I used to work for. The bumper is in almost perfect condition apart from a few scratches which can easily be sorted, so all in all very happy. Before I found this one I did a search on one of those sites that scours the country for parts and was offered a red bumper in far worse condition for £330.00 so I think I got a good deal. Tony

Tony, the thing which struck me from the photo was that there were headlamps, side/indicator lamps and bonnet with grill etc. In other words there might be other parts available. Do you know if that is, or might be the case? May help another member.

Hi Simmo When I spoke to the guy he said he had lots of parts available. I didn't ask about anything in particular other than the bumper. If you read Torbayboy's posts above you will see that the seller is a "banger racer" I didn't know this at the time but even if I had I would have still bought the bumper as it was in good condition and the right colour. If anyone wants to inquire about parts his mobile is 07590 986100 BTW Torbayboy and myself have exchanged private messages and everything is good. HTH Tony Edit: indicator lenses and spotlights came with the bumper.
