Howdy,
When I double lock my alarm. I get  my indicators going which is fair enough. However after about five mins. The lights flash again is this normal?
If so can anyone explain why this happens thank you.
Regards ...

The same thing happens with my 97 scorpio, however, my 95 scorpio double locks, but does not flash indicators at all!
My 97 remote boot open works with two presses of the boot lid open button on the remote, but the 95 opens with just one press!
There seems to be so many variations on these cars!

Hi Derek .. I don't have the flashing indicators on mine as it was an upgrade via WDS or FDS on the Ford computer.. those who don't have it can ask for the update .. but anyway .. I seem to remember other members commenting on the late extra flash so I think it's ok and common.. but see what those who have it say when they read your post .... cheers ..... STN

Hello everybody.
Sorry to be exuming this thread.

In a nutshell: My indicators don't flash and I want them to.

I went to my local Atlantic Ford and they say it sounds like a fault so i'll have to take it in for them to plug it in and run fault diagnosis etc etc. I say are you sure (?) because i've read on this forum that it's an update, just an option that can be toggled on or off. She literally replied "err well our technician has been doing this for god-knows-how-long and I think he knows what he's talking about". So.... I apologised, as it was a bit rude of me to question this guy's knowledge. Even so..

It's £loads +VAT to do this fault finding.

What do you think, STN? I'm going to call another Ford garage tomorrow morning. ..Quote exactly what STN said here because that seems to be the best information i've found so far.

Cars! Argggggh.

Ahh.. i've just found this thread which says a lot... yes.

I was going to remove my post above but actually it'd be interesting to see how matters have progressed since people last spoke of this silly problem.

So. ?
