I'm staring to get a litle desperate here so I hope someone can give me some tips... I can't get any connection and this is what I have tried: With a combined PWM/ISO lead from www.obd-2.com i tried all sugestions on this forum about correct settings in the software, but no connection. Same cable and computer with direct RS-232 connection works fine on my second car WV Golf who uses ISO. I then suspected the cable so I returend an got a new one from Alex, but still same problem so I returned it and got the money back and ordered a ElmScan5 interface from http://www.myscantool.com But still no connection although I have tried with both ProScan and PCMSCAN software. Also this Interface works fine on my VW Golf with ISO. The ElmScan5 shows that I have power out from the car and The LEDs for ODB RX and Tx are blinking. No I have run out of ideas, SO PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE WHERE TO START CHECKING FOR FAULTS ON MY CAR SINCE MY NIGHTSLEEP IS GETTING POORER....

KAnor, What message does VE show when the connection fails? Is it something about port busy? Are you letting the computer power up completely before connecting the lead?

Just for info I just invested in an OBD lead and it would not connect until I had entered the software registration key for the program.
