hi there

most of us use the leads and software from alex pepper in the usa(www.obd-2.com). one of the main reasons is you can email other members the scan to try and figure out the problem. otherwise it's all guess work, even with error codes.

The link was obtained from the alex pepper site, it is a secondhand cable but I was unsure that it was the correct one

hi there

sorry, never really looked at the ad. yes, that would work with the VE software.

not much difference in price from what alex charges. and you get a reg key for the software. Undecided

OK, now how do I order 1 from the site ??

what vehicle do I select to get the right cable for the scorp, do I just put in "ford chassis & body" ?? If I do "ISO-(no USB adapter support) $122 + 3 day Ship Free = $122" comes up as well - is this correct ??

thanks for bearing with me on this

hi there

no, it's the pwm for the scorpio. better going for the triple combo for $40 more (great exchange rate at the moment! Grin) that way you can scan most cars. Smiley
